Who are we?
Enfants du Monde is a Swiss NGO based in Geneva. For over 50 years, we have been helping children receive a quality education and mothers access essential healthcare. We believe that for a country to develop, its inhabitants must be able to learn and be in good health. Our work is recognised by organisations such as the World Health Organisation and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. We have been certified by the Swiss ZEWO quality label since 1971, guaranteeing transparency and reliability in the management of the donations we collect.

Enabling children around the world to become active participants in their own lives and to build the future of their communities through education and health.

We are committed to a future where children have access to quality education and mothers receive the care they need. With a presence in Africa, Asia and Latin America, we work to bring about lasting improvements in education and health for the most vulnerable.
- Training: We train teachers, healthcare workers and local community representatives.
- Raising awareness: We carry out activities to promote children’s health and rights and raise awareness among families and communities about the importance of education.
- Mobilising: We involve local communities to strengthen their role in improving health and education.

For over 50 years, Enfants du Monde has been putting its expertise to work for the most vulnerable children and mothers.
Our added value is based on five pillars:
- Expertise: a highly qualified team in education, health promotion and project management, with solid field experience.
- Partnership: close collaboration with beneficiaries and local organisations, taking their needs into account to build appropriate solutions together.
- Sustainability: ongoing training for teachers, health professionals and authorities to bring about lasting change in educational and health practices and influence public policy.
- Culture: projects rooted in local languages, cultures and realities, encouraging ownership by local communities and leaders.
- Quality: rigorous and ethical management, combined with regular evaluations and transparent communication with our partners and donors.
