For over 50 years, our Swiss NGO Enfants du Monde has been committed to the education and health of thousands of children, pregnant women, mothers and babies in some of the world’s poorest countries.
Our humanitarian and development mission is to provide access to quality education and maternal and child healthcare for vulnerable populations in underprivileged countries such as Burkina Faso, Guatemala, Bangladesh, Niger, Chad, Madagascar and Tanzania, in close collaboration with local governments and stakeholders, in order to contribute to long-term effects.
We believe that :
- Every child has a right to a quality education.
- The health of mothers and newborns is everyone’s responsibility.

If we were magicians, we would help all disadvantaged people with a wave of our magic wand. A fine idea – but ultimately an illusory one. That’s why I value the fact that Enfants du Monde, rather than attempting to do everything, concentrates on certain activities in a clearly defined field and makes sure that its projects are running smoothly. As a member, this makes me feel that my modest contribution does have a real impact and that it’s nothing to do with magic!
