Act now to give mothers and children a better future!
Your donation can provide quality education for children in Guatemala and Burkina Faso, and save the lives of expectant mothers and babies in countries like Bangladesh and Nepal. Discover how your generosity makes a difference.
Because education is the key to a better future
In some parts of the world, 1 in 3 pupils finish primary school without knowing how to read a complete sentence.
With your help, we can change this:
- Provide pupils with a quality education in both their local mother tongue and the country’s official language of instruction (Spanish-Maya in Guatemala, French-Mooré in Burkina Faso).
- Train teachers in our teaching methods so that all children can participate, even in overcrowded, multi-grade classes.
- Offer lessons tailored to the day-to-day realities of children’s lives, helping them learn better and pass on their knowledge to their families (for example, with lessons on malaria).
Your donation changes the lives of thousands of children and their families!
I make a donationBecause no woman should give life while risking her own
Every day, more than 800 women around the world die from complications related to pregnancy or childbirth.
Your support makes a difference for them and their babies in Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, and Nepal:
- Train midwives and nurses to better care for mothers and their babies.
- Provide education sessions for pregnant women to help them recognize the signs of danger to their health or that of their newborn.
- Spread vital preventive information to families, including those who are illiterate, in formats accessible to all.
Simple actions can protect the lives and health of mothers and their babies.
I make a donationMy donation makes a difference
I provide bilingual school manuals in French and Mooré (the local language) for 8 children in Burkina Faso, enabling them to make better progress at school.
I allow for 250 pregnant women in Bangladesh to receive training preparing them for childbirth and the risks related to giving birth.
I fund a continuing education training in bilingual education for 10 teachers in Guatemala, to improve the quality of their lessons.
