The Board of Enfants du Monde has appointed Myriam Gallio as Secretary General, effective 1 July 2026. She succeeds Beata Godenzi, whom the Committee thanks for her commitment to Enfants du Monde. Nicolas Bach, previously Director of Administration and Finance, has been appointed Deputy Secretary General.

These appointments mark a new chapter for Enfants du Monde. They come at a time of profound organisational transformation in a rapidly changing international cooperation landscape, while ensuring continuity in the organisation’s mission and commitments to its partners.

A Career Built on Field Experience and International Expertise

With more than twenty years of experience, Myriam Gallio brings a strong foundation in international cooperation. Before joining Enfants du Monde, she held positions with UNICEF Nepal, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) in Bern and Cambodia, as well as several international NGOs. These experiences enabled her to work at the intersection of strategic management, institutional representation, policy dialogue, programme oversight, and the development of high-quality approaches, particularly in education and training.
