What we achieved in 2025

Education: a stepping stone to a better future

Providing vulnerable children with a quality education requires well-trained teachers, appropriate learning materials and robust education systems. In Africa and Latin America, we work at every level of the education system – from ministries to classrooms – and achieve tangible improvements in pupils’ learning outcomes.

In conflict and crisis settings, such as Burkina Faso and Chad, we enable displaced and refugee children and young people to continue their education in a safe and protective environment. In Niger and Chad, we also provide out-of-school young people and women who have never had the opportunity to attend school with a curriculum focused on acquiring basic knowledge and practical skills that can help them generate an income, empowering them to build their own future.

An organisation evolving to strengthen its impact

In 2025, Enfants du Monde continued its organisational development to better respond to changes in international cooperation. This included refocusing its project portfolio on Africa and on the three interconnected priorities of education, vocational training and access to employment; introducing new management tools; strengthening monitoring and evaluation; and professionalising its fundraising activities. The creation of a Strategic Investment Fund also enables us to continue innovating and preparing for the future.
