Forgotten crisis: these are the words that echo today when you hear about the war in Sudan.
And yet, how can we forget the fear, the screams, the homes left behind, the villages, the landmarks… The ravages of conflict have turned the lives of thousands of children and their families upside down, and these memories are indelible. Torn from their homes, thousands of Sudanese children have crossed the border and are now refugees in the Ouaddaï province in eastern Chad.
Faced with the urgency of the situation, we are providing education for refugee children aged 12 to 17 in a safe and protective environment.

Psychological support is also provided to help them overcome the effects of their exile and rebuild their lives in a caring environment. We train teachers to detect cases of abuse and violence and raise awareness among children and families.
