By the end of elementary school, barely 2 out of 3 students have adequate levels in reading and math: it is to combat this reality that we are carrying out a project to strengthen the Burkina Faso education system, on behalf of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eda.admin.ch\/deza\/en\/home.html\">Swiss Agency of Development and Cooperation.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The objective of the project is to improve education in a sustainable way, in direct collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.education.gov.bf\/accueil\">Burkina Faso Ministry of Basic Education<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/planete-eed.org\/\">NGO Children Plan\u00e8te Enfants et D\u00e9veloppement<\/a>, in three regions: the central north, central west et the Hauts-Bassins. These establishments can be early learning centers, but more often they are \u201cbisongos,\u201d structures implemented by communities with little resources. They are led by those nicknamed \u201clittle papas\u201d and \u201clittle mamas\u201d who are poorly trained.
