She succeeds <strong>Beata Godenzi<\/strong>, whom the Committee thanks for her commitment to Enfants du Monde. <strong>Nicolas Bach<\/strong>, previously Director of Administration and Finance, has been appointed <strong>Deputy Secretary General<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>These appointments mark a new chapter for Enfants du Monde. She has played a central role in overseeing the education and health portfolios, guiding their strategic development, and leading the organisational repositioning required by an evolving global context. She has also held significant responsibilities in institutional leadership, team management, partner engagement, and organisational change.<\/p>\n                                                                                                            <\/div>\n                    <\/div>\n                            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n\n        <section class=\"contentSec\" style=\"display:\">\n        <div class=\"container\">\n            <div class=\"contentBlock\">\n                <h5>A Career Built on Field Experience and International Expertise<\/h5>\n                <p>With more than twenty years of experience, Myriam Gallio brings a strong foundation in international cooperation. Before joining Enfants du Monde, she held positions with UNICEF Nepal, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) in Bern and Cambodia, as well as several international NGOs. These experiences enabled her to work at the intersection of strategic management, institutional representation, policy dialogue, programme oversight, and the development of high-quality approaches, particularly in education and training.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I take on this new role with determination and optimism, alongside our dedicated teams and partners. Enfants du Monde is an organisation whose mission is more relevant than ever in today&#8217;s world, marked by growing divisions, geopolitical tensions, environmental crises, and rising inequalities, polarisation and disinformation. More than ever, we need education and health approaches that empower people to become free, adaptable and responsible.
