Unfortunately, these traditional treatments result in the deaths of many women in Haiti. They die because they did not receive the right healthcare in time.<\/p>\n                                                                                                            <\/div>\n                    <\/div>\n                            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n\n        <section class=\"contentSec\" style=\"display:\">\n        <div class=\"container\">\n            <div class=\"contentBlock\">\n                <h5>We are Improving Care for Pregnant Women and Babies<\/h5>\n                <p>In many cases, these deaths are due to complications that could have been easily treated if the woman had gone to a health centre quickly and been cared for by qualified medical staff.<\/p>\n<p>Enfants du Monde&#8217;s health project in Haiti therefore aims to improve care for pregnant women, mothers and babies. I decided to become a midwife because it is a noble profession and I enjoy helping people in need. from our health project in Dufour and D\u00e9lattes, two communities in the Petit and Grand Go\u00e2ve region in western Haiti.<\/li>\n<li>Midwives and health workers receive training in counselling and communication on maternal and neonatal health issues.<\/li>\n<li>Health workers, traditional healers, families and the local population in Haiti are involved in the health project to find the best solutions together.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Enfants du Monde works in partnership with M\u00e9decins du Monde Spain, local organisations and the Haitian Ministry of Health.<\/p>\n<p><b><strong>Watch the
