In addition, the Salvadoran government has placed very little emphasis on raising awareness of health issues among women and their families. The majority of women are not sufficiently informed about the risks associated with pregnancy and are therefore unable to make the right decisions to prevent them.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n                                                                                                            <\/div>\n                    <\/div>\n                            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n\n        <section class=\"contentSec\" style=\"display:\">\n        <div class=\"container\">\n            <div class=\"contentBlock\">\n                <h5><\/h5>\n                <p>Since the launch of Enfants du Monde&#8217;s health project in El Salvador, the number of deaths has fallen sharply in the eight municipalities concerned. The explanation lies in the health approach used by our Swiss NGO.<\/p>\n<p>Convinced by the results we have achieved in implementing this approach at the local level, the Salvadoran Ministry of Health has requested Enfants du Monde&#8217;s support in applying the same approach nationwide. Until now, women only gave birth at home.
