Die Solidarit\u00e4t der Gemeinschaft ist in diesem Land von grundlegender Bedeutung, in dem sich jeder durchschlagen muss, so gut er kann; der Staat ist schwach und korrupt und die Reparaturen der Infrastruktur gehen oft zu Lasten der Eltern. Die Hauptsprache der Menschen hier ist Q&#8217;eqchi&#8216;, eine der 22 Maya-Sprachen. Die Kinder sprechen zu Hause Q&#8217;eqchi&#8216; und verstehen kein Spanisch, die offizielle Sprache Guatemalas. Die Lehrkr\u00e4fte m\u00fcssen mehrstufige Klassen mit sehr vielen Sch\u00fclern unterrichten. Die Hauptsprache der meisten Kinder dieser Schule ist Spanisch, da ihre Eltern ihnen nicht die Maya-Kaqchikel-Sprache beigebracht haben, die von ihren Gro\u00dfeltern und Menschen in l\u00e4ndlicheren Gebieten der Region gesprochen wird. Die Einkommensungleichheit geh\u00f6rt zu den h\u00f6chsten der Welt, da 260 Familien 57 % des Verm\u00f6gens des Landes besitzen. Es ist ein Transitland f\u00fcr Drogen, Migranten, Geld und Waffen. Die Justiz ist ineffizient und korrupt.
